1. About Meranz
Meranz is an online marketplace operated by Meranz Holdings, connecting buyers with independent vendors across Uganda via meranz.online. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases on Meranz. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Marketplace Nature
Meranz is a platform that facilitates transactions between buyers and vendors. Meranz Holdings is not the seller of the goods listed on the platform. Each vendor is responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, pricing, and availability.
4. Orders & Payment
- All prices are listed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX)
- Orders are confirmed upon successful payment
- Meranz reserves the right to cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud
- Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout
5. Delivery
- Delivery is available across Uganda
- Delivery timelines and costs vary by location and are shown at checkout
- Delivery timelines may vary for remote areas
- You will receive tracking updates where available
6. Vendor Liability
Individual vendors are responsible for the quality, authenticity, and description of their products. Meranz Holdings will assist in dispute resolution but cannot be held liable for vendor errors, product defects, or misrepresentation beyond the scope of our return and refund process.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use Meranz to:
- Purchase or sell illegal goods or services
- Commit fraud or impersonate another person
- Interfere with the platform's security or operation
- Circumvent our payment systems
8. Intellectual Property
All content on meranz.online, including logos, images, and text, is the property of Meranz Holdings or its content providers. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ugandan law, Meranz Holdings shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
